2. Our role as your broker
As a licensed insurance broker, Aurevian represents you, the client, and acts on your behalf in identifying your insurance needs, sourcing quotations from insurers, advising on and placing suitable cover, and assisting with policy servicing and claims. We are not an insurer and do not underwrite risk.
3. Remuneration & commission
Aurevian is ordinarily remunerated by way of brokerage / commission paid by the insurer, within the limits prescribed by IRDAI, on policies placed through us. This remuneration is built into the premium and does not represent an additional charge levied by us on you for placement.
4. Conflict of interest
Aurevian maintains a strict conflict-of-interest policy and takes all reasonable steps to identify, prevent and manage any conflicts that may arise. Our advice is not influenced by any arrangement that would place our interests ahead of yours.
5. Handling of premiums & prohibition of rebating
In accordance with Section 41 of the Insurance Act, 1938, no rebate of premium or commission shall be allowed as an inducement to take out or renew an insurance policy. Aurevian strictly adheres to statutory non-rebating rules and handles client premiums in full compliance with IRDAI directives.
6. Grievance redressal mechanism
Aurevian is committed to prompt and fair resolution of client grievances. Complaints may be escalated through the following stages:

Step 2 — IRDAI Bima Bharosa Portal
If your grievance is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may approach the IRDAI Consumer Affairs Grievance cell:

Step 3 — Insurance Ombudsman
For unresolved policy or service grievances, clients may approach the Insurance Ombudsman having jurisdiction under the Insurance Ombudsman Rules, 2017 (cioins.co.in).
